Missing Person in Long Lake #58 First Nation Found Deceased

GREENSTONE, ON – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment is conducting a death investigation after a missing person was found deceased in Long Lake #58 First Nation.

On January 26, 2025, shortly after 5:00 p.m., Greenstone OPP received a report of a deceased individual in the community. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Adrienne Towegishig, who had been reported missing since January 10, 2025.

The Greenstone OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, is leading the investigation with assistance from the OPP North West Regional Support Team, OPP Forensic Identification Services, and the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.

Authorities have expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance in the investigation.
