Dryden Resident Faces Drug Trafficking and Weapons Charges

DRYDEN – CRIME – A Dryden resident is facing serious charges following a drug bust on Hearst Avenue.

On November 22, 2024, shortly before noon, members of the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from Red Lake and Sioux Lookout CSCU and the Dryden OPP detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence on Hearst Avenue.

The search resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine, along with evidence of drug trafficking and other prohibited items.

As a result, 47-year-old Nicole LELONDE has been arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine: 1 This charge, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, relates to the possession of cocaine with the intent to sell or distribute it.
