THUNDER BAY, ON – The Ontario Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking for the public’s help to locate Denis Bernard, a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release conditions. Bernard is known to frequent the Thunder Bay area.

Denis Bernard is described as:
- Indigenous Male, 40 years old
- Height: 5’11” (180 cm)
- Weight: 150 lbs (68 kg)
- Hair: Black, worn in braids
- Eyes: Brown
Bernard has several distinctive tattoos, including:
- Front of Neck: “Jazz”
- Left and Right Arms: Bear paws
- Left Upper Arm: Skull
- Right Arm: Tribal Art Skull
- Right Forearm: “One, Nish” with a skull and safety pin
- Right and Left Forearms: Feathers
- Right Upper Arm: “Denis”
- Right Thumb: “NS”
- Abdomen: “Merciless”
Criminal Background
Bernard is currently serving a 2-year, 8-month, and 15-day sentence for manslaughter.
