Thunder Bay, ON – Three Winnipeg residents are facing a slew of charges after a gas theft incident escalated into a police pursuit and the discovery of a stolen vehicle and drugs.
On November 3rd, 2024, around 1:19 PM, Thunder Bay OPP officers responded to a report of a gas theft from a business on Highway 102. Officers located and stopped the suspect vehicle, a black 2019 Ford Mustang GT.
Upon investigation, officers discovered the vehicle had been stolen from Winnipeg, Manitoba. The driver also provided false identification. A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of suspected controlled substances.

Damanjeet Singh, 30:

All accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in Thunder Bay at a later date.
