Quick response leads to swift recovery after child reported missing

THUNDER BAY, ON – Thunder Bay Police Service officers swiftly located a missing child following a coordinated search at Centennial Park on Thursday, September 26.

Just before 7 p.m., police received a report of a young child who had gone missing in the park. Officers from the Primary Response Branch, supported by the Emergency Task Unit and K-9 Unit, quickly mobilized to search the area.

Thanks to the fast response and collaborative efforts, the child was safely located shortly after the search began.
