Winnipeg Homicide Investigation: Arrest Update

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Police Service has announced a significant development in the homicide investigation of 28-year-old Ashley Isabella MURDOCK, who was found deceased on July 5, 2024.

On September 22, 2024, officers from the Central District located and arrested Devon Charlie COLOMB (26), who was wanted for Accessory to Murder in connection with this case. COLOMB has been turned over to the Homicide Unit and is currently in custody.

This arrest follows previous charges laid against three other individuals in relation to MURDOCK’s homicide:

  • Kelly Marie KROEKER (32) was charged with Second Degree Murder.
  • Kenneth Walter YOUNG (28) was charged with Accessory to Murder.
  • Charles Harold WOOD (38) was charged with Accessory to Murder.  

Investigators believe that MURDOCK was moved to the 300 block of Kennedy Street after her death.

The Winnipeg Police Service is committed to bringing justice to Ashley Isabella MURDOCK and her family.
