THUNDER BAY, ON – On September 18, 2024, at around 1:19 p.m., Thunder Bay, Shabaqua, and Nipigon OPP, alongside Fire & EMS, responded to a multi-vehicle collision involving a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 11-17 near East Loon Road, Shuniah.
As a result, the highway remains closed between Highway 527 and Pearl.
The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team and Technical Collision Reconstructionists are investigating the incident, and updates will follow as the situation develops.
