Saskatoon is in for a mix of weather over the next few days, so keep your umbrellas handy but don’t store away your sunglasses just yet! Today, expect cloudy skies with a 60% chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the late afternoon. Winds will gust from the east at up to 50 km/h, keeping the day feeling brisk despite a high of 20°C. Tonight, the chance of rain remains, with showers likely continuing into the evening as temperatures dip to a cool 10°C.

Friday brings a pleasant change with a mix of sun and cloud, accompanied by milder winds and a high of 20°C. However, more showers could creep back into the forecast Friday night. The weekend looks brighter with sunny skies on both Saturday and Sunday, where highs will reach a comfortable 21°C. Nights will stay cool, around 8-10°C.

As we head into next week, cloud cover increases again, and showers are expected Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures hovering around 19-21°C.

Wardrobe Tip: Pack a jacket and an umbrella for today, but lighter layers will do for the sunny weekend ahead!

Historical Weather Trivia: Saskatoon’s average high for this time of year is 19°C, so this week’s temperatures are right on target for a typical September.
