Sudbury is waking up to a bit of a mystery today—fog! A fog advisory has been issued, warning of near-zero visibility this morning. This should lift soon, giving way to a mix of sun and clouds before clearing up completely. Expect a high of 29°C today, but with the humidex, it will feel closer to 34°C—definitely warm for September! Tonight, the skies will remain clear with a low of 14°C.

Looking ahead, Friday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures reaching 27°C and a low of 15°C overnight. The weekend continues the trend of warm, sunny days, with highs around 28°C on Saturday and a pleasant 25°C on Sunday. Nighttime temperatures will be comfortable, staying in the mid-teens.

It’s a great time to break out those summer clothes one last time, but keep your eyes on the road this morning if you’re driving—those fog patches can make things tricky.

Historical Weather Trivia: Sudbury’s typical high for mid-September is 18°C, so today’s 29°C is a real treat! The record high for this day was a balmy 30°C back in 1952.
