Frost is greeting most people across the region this morning.
Frost advisory in effect for tonight

Heads up, green thumbs and gardeners! Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for the City of Thunder Bay, as well as Kakabeka Falls, Nipigon, and Armstrong.

Temperatures are expected to dip tonight, falling near or even below freezing. This could spell trouble for frost-sensitive plants, including those vegetable gardens and fruit trees you’ve been carefully nurturing all season. Patchy frost is likely to develop overnight, so now’s the time to break out those plant covers or bring your more delicate greenery indoors.

Pro tip: If you’re in a frost-prone area, make sure to cover your plants before heading to bed tonight! They’ll thank you in the morning!
