Bright Skies Followed by Weekend Rain

Toronto is in for a sunny day today, with a high of 25°C. The clear skies will continue into the evening, offering pleasant weather with temperatures dipping to 16°C. However, expect a hazy afternoon, as smoke from distant wildfires may affect air quality slightly.

Chance of Showers Rolling In

As we move toward the weekend, Friday, September 6, brings a 60% chance of showers, with a high of 25°C. Showers are expected to continue into the evening, with overnight temperatures cooling to 15°C.

Saturday, September 7, will be a cooler day with highs of just 17°C and a 70% chance of showers. The rain may persist into the night, where temperatures will drop to 10°C.

By Sunday, September 8, there will be a 40% chance of showers with a cooler high of 15°C(Environment Canada).

Wardrobe Suggestions

With sunny weather today, light clothing is recommended. But as rain moves in by Friday, pack an umbrella and a rain jacket for the weekend. The cooler temperatures on Saturday and Sunday also mean you’ll want to layer up!

Fun Fact: Toronto’s September Extremes
