UPDATE – OPP charges Fort Frances resident after a serious collision on Highway 102. Court appearance set for September 26
THUNDER BAY, ON – The Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred on January 6, 2024.
Around 12:30 p.m. on January 6, emergency services, including the Thunder Bay OPP, fire services, and EMS, responded to a severe collision on Highway 102. The incident involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle. The passenger in the passenger vehicle was transported to the hospital with life-altering injuries.
Following an investigation, Morgan GOOD, a 20-year-old from Fort Frances, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm
- Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm
GOOD has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on September 26, 2024.
