DULUTH, Ga. – The undefeated Carolina Cowboys continued to ride in seemingly unstoppable form Saturday evening in Duluth, Georgia, beating the Austin Gamblers by two ride scores to improve to a perfect 4-0 in 2024, furthering their grasp on the league No. 1 rank in the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series.
Carolina jumped out to an early lead, converting in the first two frames of the game, as both opener Cooper Davis and Derek Kolbaba found the requisite 8 with ease. After Austin failed to make the whistle through the first three frames, the Carolina victory was clinched when Ramon de Lima, who was fourth out for Austin, was bucked off by Simon.
The five-on-five showdown concluded with scores from both teams, as Sage Steele Kimzey and Jose Vitor Leme delivered for Carolina and Austin, respectively.
When the dust settled, Carolina won by 174.25 points, 259.75-85.5. The win allowed them to improve to a perfect 2-0 in Georgia, and 4-0 across the 2024 season, furthering their grasp on the No. 1 rank in the league. The Cowboys will seek their fifth game win of the season on the final day of league play in Georgia on Sunday, July 28 when they take on the Kansas City Outlaws.
Austin now returns to Texas, concluding their outing in the Peach State with a bye. They went 1-1 inside Gas South Arena, now 1-3 in 2024, slipping from No. 8 to No. 9 in the league standings.
The J.B. Mauney-led Oklahoma Wildcatters, who had a bye Friday evening, made their presence known Saturday evening inside Gas South Arena, cruising to a two-ride score win against the Missouri Thunder, 334.75-176, as they went 4-for-5. The win allowed the Oklahoma Wildcatters to climb from No. 3 to No. 2 in the league.
The showdown between Oklahoma and Missouri was the most hotly contested of the evening, as the lead changed five times. While Eduardo Matos gave the Wildcatters the lead in the bottom of the first, the Thunder quickly overtook them in the top of the second as Grayson Cole reached the whistle, but Cort McFadden returned Oklahoma to the lead in the very next out to conclude the frame.
Following a scoreless third, the lead then ping-ponged in the fourth as Paulo Eduardo Rossetto delivered a game-best score for Missouri and Josh Frost was electric in his debut for Oklahoma. As a result, Oklahoma led by 73.25 points entering the fifth.
In a must-ride position for the Thunder in the top of the final frame, Felipe Furlan initially appeared centered atop Uncle Jim, but ultimately hit the ground short of the 8, delivering Oklahoma the win. The gritty Wildcatters squad then punctuated their 4-for-5 game with an 85.5-point ride from young gun closer Clay Guiton.
Oklahoma is now 1-0 in Georgia and 3-1 in 2024 as they ready to next play the New York Mavericks. The Thunder slipped to 0-1 in the Peach State and 1-3 this season, now ranked No. 8 in the league, eager to rebound when they play the Arizona Ridge Riders on July 28.
The closing power of the Kansas City Outlaws’ roster was showcased Saturday evening in Duluth as a fourth frame ride from Julio Cesar Marques, and monster 90-point ride from closer Cassio Dias, led them to an 178.25-89.5 win against the Florida Freedom.
For the second consecutive night the Freedom were prevented from suffering a scoreless defeat as their anchor John Crimber converted in the fifth.
Kansas City improved to 1-1 in Georgia and 3-1 in 2024, now ranked No. 4 in PBR Teams, while Florida, who will have a bye on the final night of the neutral site event, concluded their outing in Georgia with a 0-2 record, now 1-3 in 2024 to remain No. 7 in the league.
The final game of the night featured a resurgent Arizona Ridge Riders squad defeating the league’s reigning Champion Texas Rattlers by two ride scores, 341.5-172. The win was a reversal of efforts from Arizona who went 0-for-5 the night prior as they suffered their first loss of the season.
Arizona rode lights out through the game’s first three frames as Bruno Carvalho, Eduardo Aparecido and Eli Vastbinder all delivered consecutive qualified rides to give the team a 168.5-point lead entering the penultimate round of outs. Texas was unable to match the effort, with just one Rattler making the whistle in those frames, as opener Joao Ricardo Vieira topped Bootstrap Bill for 82.75 points.
In the top of the fourth, Keyshawn Whitehorse clinched the game win early for Arizona as he logged a monster 90.25-point ride on Firewater. While Texas recorded an additional score in the bottom of the fourth from Brady Fielder, it was not enough to reverse the result of the game.
Arizona’s hopes of a perfect game, however, came to an end in the top of the fifth as Luciano de Castro was bested by Chupacabra in 5.88 seconds.
Via the win, Arizona improved to 1-1 in Georgia and 3-1 in 2024 competition, rising from No. 4 to No. 3 in the league. Texas slipped to 1-1 in Georgia and 2-2 throughout the season, falling from No. 5 to No. 6 in the league. The Rattlers will look to conclude the event with a win when they next play the 2022 PBR Teams Champion Nashville Stampede on July 28.
The evening then concluded with the Shootout Round, featuring one rider from each of the night’s winning teams. As the only contender to make the whistle, the Kansas City Outlaws’ Sandro Batista won the special round for his 87-point ride on Lapua.

The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams No. 1 Carolina Cowboys continued to ride red hot Saturday evening in Duluth, Georgia, improving to a perfect 4-0 in 2024 Camping World Team Series competition as they defeated the Austin Gamblers by two ride scores, 259.75-85.5. The Carolina Cowboys are the only undefeated team remaining in league play ahead of the final day of competition in the Peach State. The Carolina Cowboys got off to a fast start. Opener Cooper Davis gave the Carolina squad the first lead of the game as he covered House Fire for 87 points. In the bottom of the first, after difficulties in the chute, Dalton Kasel burst into the arena for the Gamblers aboard Bootlegger but came down in a hard-fought 5.49 seconds. The Cowboys continued to ride red hot in the top of the second as Derek Kolbaba grew their lead to 172 points as he covered Rip Tide for 85 points. Austin then turned to 2018 PBR World Champion Kaique Pacheco atop Amarillo Highway to deliver the first Gambler qualified ride of the night. The Ice Man, however, stumbled, hitting the ground in 5.09 seconds as Austin remained scoreless entering the third. In the top of the third, Carolina’s momentum came to an abrupt end as Adriano Salgado was disqualified aboard Smooth Criminal, failing to nod before the 30-second chute clock expired. While Austin appeared on track to log their first score in the bottom of the frame, Callum Miller was unseated in a close 7.37 seconds by the still unridden Magic Potion. As the penultimate round of outs began, Carolina had their first chance to clinch the game win early as Daylon Swearingen settled in atop Cool Whip. Swearingen nodded with confidence, but Cool Whip emerged the more dominant athlete, logging his PBR record 44thconsecutive buckoff in premier level competition as he hurtled the 2022 World Champion to the ground in a close 5.2 seconds. Austin’s hopes of victory then came down to Ramon de Lima who was in a must ride position on Simon. Lima began the out centered, but was quickly sent airborne, dislodged at the 3.12-second mark, delivering Carolina their fourth consecutive win of the season. Carolina closer Sage Steele Kimzey concluded the undefeated team’s outing Saturday night inside Gas South Arena with a game-best score, covering Cajun Brute for 87.75 points. Austin staved off a scoreless defeat in the bottom of the fifth, as closer Jose Vitor Leme covered Sweet John for 85.5 points. When the action concluded, Carolina won by 174.25 points, 259.75-85.5. The Carolina Cowboys, who will next play the Kansas City Outlaws when the league neutral site in Duluth concludes on Sunday, July 28, are now 2-0 in Georgia and 4-0 this season, firmly ranked No. 1 in the league. The Gamblers will now turn their focus to next weekend’s event in Sunrise, Florida, holding a bye for Sunday’s event inside Gas South Arena. 2024 PBR World Champion Cassio Dias Propels Kansas City Outlaws to Victory Against Florida Freedom on Second Night of PBR Camping World Team Series Action in Duluth, Georgia

The closing force of Kansas City’s roster was on full display Saturday evening, as the Outlaws beat the Florida Freedom by one ride score on the second night of PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series game play in Duluth, Georgia, clinching the victory courtesy of a monster ride from closer Cassio Dias in the top of the fifth. In the first, Kansas City and Florida exchanged buckoffs. Koltin Hevalow came down in a heartbreaking 7.76 seconds aboard Pelican Punch for the Outlaws, while Caden Bunch was bested in 3.08 seconds by Dana White’s Twisted Steel for the Freedom. In the top of the second, Brennon Eldred appeared poised to deliver Kansas City the squad’s first points, but Sundance ultimately got the better of him in 6.94 seconds. Florida suffered a similar fate in the bottom of the second. Joao Lucas Campos started his out with Cliff Hanger centered but hit the ground in 6.85 seconds. The scoreboard then went unchanged through the third as Sandro Batista wasn’t able to deliver for Kansas City, and Thiago Salgado was tossed for Florida. In the top of the fourth, Kansas City halted their streak of buckoffs. Julio Cesar Marques nodded with confidence atop Wild Card, reaching the 8 with ease to give his team an 88.25-point lead. Florida then turned to Elizmar Jeremias to give them a quick response. Bursting from the chutes inside Gas South Arena, Jeremias did not have enough to get past Black Fury, sent airborne in 4.15 seconds. Via the buckoff, Kansas City had the chance to clinch the game win early should their closer, and reining PBR World Champion, Dias cover Ridin’ Salty. In true Dias form, he remained centered aboard the powerful animal athlete, making the whistle as the crowd erupted in raucous cheer. Awarded a mammoth 90 points, the score from Dias cemented the victory for Kansas City. While they were not able to reverse the result of the game, Florida closer John Crimber prevented his team from suffering a scoreless defeat as he rode Bomb Diggity for 89.5 points. The final scoreboard read an 88.75-point Kansas City win, as they beat the Freedom 178.25-89.5. The Outlaws are now 1-1 in Georgia and 3-1 this season, now ranked No. 4 in the league. They will next play the Carolina Cowboys inside Gas South Arena on Sunday, July 28. The Florida Freedom will conclude the event in the Peach State with a bye as they turn their focus to their debut homestand in Sunrise, Florida, next weekend. The Oklahoma Wildcatters rode supreme Saturday evening in Duluth, Georgia, cruising past the Missouri Thunder by two ride scores and 158.75 points, as they went 4-for-5 in the showdown to improve to 3-1 across the 2024 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series season. The game marked the first for both Oklahoma and Missouri inside Gas South Arena as both had a bye when game play began Friday evening. Missouri began the game in disheartening form as opener Boudreaux Campbell was tossed in a close 6.49 seconds by Unhinged. Oklahoma, however, made their presence known in the very next out. Eduardo Matos gave the Wildcatters a fast 84.25-point lead as he reached the whistle on Bayou Bad Boy. Missouri wouldn’t remain scoreless for long. In the top of the second, Grayson Cole rode Gaucho for 86.25 points to put the Thunder ahead by 2 points. Oklahoma then retook the lead in the bottom of the second by 76.75 points as Cort McFadden conquered Centerfold for 78.75 points. The Arizona Ridge Riders rebounded in triumphant form Saturday evening, shaking off their first loss of the season sustained Friday evening, as they logged a statement, two-ride score, 169.5-point victory against the reigning PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams Champion Texas Rattlers on the second night of PBR Camping World Team Series game play in Duluth, Georgia. The tempo of the game was set by an electric first. Arizona converted in the top of the first, electing to keep Bruno Carvalho’s 76.75-point ride atop Red Scorpion despite being offered a re-ride. The league’s reigning Champions responded in quick form, overtaking the lead by 6 points as veteran Joao Ricardo Vieira rode Bootstrap Bill for 82.75 points. Arizona wouldn’t trail for long. In the top of the second, Eduardo Aparecido put the Ridge Riders ahead by 81.75 points as he rode Black Gold for 87.75 points. In the bottom of the second, Texas looked to Brady Oleson aboard Buck Nasty to return their team to the top of the leaderboard. While Oleson was initially deemed to have bucked off in 3.83 seconds, Rattlers Head Coach Cody Lambert challenged the call, believing the bull fouled himself. Upon close review by PBR’s officials, they found no foul, with the no score remaining in place, and Texas losing their challenge for the remainder of the game. In the top of the third, with just 1 second remaining on the chute clock, Eli Vastbinder called for his draw Sky’s The Limit. In what proved to be a perfect pairing, Vastbinder reached the requisite 8 for 86.75 points to grow Arizona’s lead to 168.5 points. The bottom of the middle round of outs featured the Rattlers’ Marcelo Procopio Pereira atop Cutting Edge Bandit. Pereira, however, was unable to replicate his past success on the bull, tossed in 1.72 seconds. Via the buckoff, Arizona had the chance to clinch the game win early in the top of the fourth by pulling three ride scores ahead, with just two Texas riders remaining. In the possibly game-winning moment was Keyshawn Whitehorse atop Firewater. Answering the call for his team, Whitehorse matched the bull jump-for-jump with ease, marked a monstrous 90.25 points. The win grew Arizona’s lead to 258.75 points, clinching their victory just one day after they lost their first game of the season in scoreless fashion. While the result of the game was sealed, the Rattlers regained their championship form in the bottom of the fourth as Brady Fielder rode Big Chili for 89.25 points. During the 2024 season, the league’s third, each of the 10 teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; New York Mavericks of Brooklyn, NY; OK; Oklahoma Wildcatters of Oklahoma City, OK; Missouri Thunder of Springfield, MO; and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX– will host a homestand. PBR Teams, launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. In events staged in a tournament-style format, all teams compete in head-to-head matchups against a different opponent each day. Each game features five riders per team squaring off against another team. Full team rosters are comprised of seven riders on the Protected Roster and five Reserve riders. The team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner of each game.
