Special Weather Statement: Extended Heat Wave

A warm air mass will affect Southern Quebec beginning today, bringing an extended heat wave with maximum temperatures between 30°C and 32°C and overnight lows above 18°C. Humidex values will reach between 35 and 39 in the afternoons on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. After a brief break on Wednesday afternoon due to showers, the heat will return on Thursday with humidex values near 40. This pattern of heat and humidity is expected to continue until Friday.
