Northwest Region

Current Situation:

  • New Fires: No new wildland fires were confirmed in the Northwest Region by early evening on July 19.
  • Active Fires: There are currently six active fires in the Northwest Region, all of which are being observed.
  • Recent Activity: Two fires have been called out over the past 24 hours.

Fire Hazard Levels:

The wildland fire hazard remains predominantly moderate across the Northwest Region, with some scattered pockets of low and high hazard throughout most sectors.

Waterbomber Safety:

When waterbombers approach a body of water, please move close to the shore to allow them to scoop safely. Waterbombers will not scoop from a lake or river if encroaching watercraft pose a safety hazard. Stay safe and stay clear of waterbombers.
