Moosonee, ON – The James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting public assistance to identify a suspect in a recent break and enter incident at the Ontario Northland building.

On June 14, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., a suspect broke into the Ontario Northland building located at 2 Railway Lane, Moosonee, by smashing a glass door with bolt cutters. The suspect caused significant damage inside the building and stole one item.

The suspect is described as wearing all black clothing, including a hood over a flat-brim hat, glasses, black and yellow gloves, and grey shoes with an orange sole. The individual was carrying bolt cutters at the time of the incident.
