Extended Heat Warning in Effect

A heat warning remains in effect for Kenora, Lake of the Woods, Whitedog, Grassy Narrows, and the “Winnipeg East” Cottage Country area. A hot airmass has settled over northwestern Ontario, bringing daytime highs near 30°C with humidex values reaching 36°C. Nighttime temperatures will offer little relief, staying near 19°C. A cooler airmass is expected to arrive by Sunday or Monday.
