Kennedy Street Homicide Investigation Underway in Winnipeg

Homicide Investigation – C24-153322

WINNIPEG, MB – On July 5, 2024, at approximately 7:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 300 block of Kennedy Street following reports of suspicious circumstances involving a deceased individual.

The investigation has determined that the cause of death is suspicious, prompting the involvement of the Homicide Unit.

The deceased has been identified as Ashley Isabella MURDOCK, 28, from Fisher River and Jackhead First Nation, currently residing in Winnipeg. Family notifications have been made.
