37-Year-Old Man Charged After Multi-Vehicle Collision on Water Street

THUNDER BAY – NEWS — A 37-year-old man faces multiple charges following a collision with several parked vehicles in Thunder Bay.

Emergency services were dispatched to the area of Water Street and John Street just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

According to witnesses, a pickup truck nearly collided with an oncoming vehicle before leaving the roadway and striking three vehicles in a nearby parking lot.

Upon arrival, the responding officer observed multiple signs of impairment in the driver. The driver was promptly arrested.

The accused has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Vehicle, Dangerous Operation of a Vehicle, and Breach of Probation. He has been released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
