The Florida Panthers have clinched their first-ever Stanley Cup in an electrifying Game Seven showdown!

Last night, at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, the Panthers edged out the Edmonton Oilers with a nail-biting 2-1 victory. This monumental win marks the Panthers’ first Stanley Cup championship since joining the NHL as an expansion team in 1993. It was their third attempt at glory, having fallen short in 1996 against the Colorado Avalanche and just last year to the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Oilers put up a valiant fight, coming back from a 3-0 series deficit, but fell just short of a historic reverse sweep.

Only the Toronto Maple Leafs of 1942 have ever pulled off that legendary comeback. The Oilers gave it their all, but the Panthers stood firm and seized their moment in the spotlight.
