Highway 102 MVC Impacting Tbaytel Services: Including Schools

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Tbaytel advises due to a motor vehicle accident that that caused damage to our infrastructure, we are experiencing an outage on phone, internet, TV and mobility services in the following areas listed below.

Dog Lake, Lappe, Hwy 102, Ware, Surprise Lake, Trout Lake, Hawkeye Lake, Intola, Shabaqua, Shebandowan, Goodman and One Island.
Service restoration time is Monday afternoon, we appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to safely access the site and complete repairs. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Schools Impacted

Lakehead Public Schools has been advised that due to damage to Tbaytel infrastructure, Gorham and Ware Community School will experience a phone, internet, and mobility outage on Monday, January 8, 2024. As the school cannot safely operate without communication, Gorham and Ware Community School will be closed on Monday, January 8th. Tbaytel is working to restore the connections and at this moment, we anticipate that the school will be open and operational on Tuesday, January 9th
