The airline has exercised its purchase rights to place a firm order for 25 state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 passenger jets, further bolstering its already substantial order book. A Deal Worth US$2.1 Billion
The deal, valued at an impressive US$2.1 billion at list price, not only strengthens Porter Airlines’ partnership with Embraer but also signifies the airline’s ambitions for future growth. This order brings Porter’s total number of firm orders with Embraer to 75 aircraft, with 25 purchase rights remaining. Deliveries for these additional E195-E2s are scheduled to commence in 2025, marking the beginning of a new era for the airline.

The airline has already taken delivery of 24 E195-E2s, which have enabled it to expand its offerings. Enhanced Comfort and Options for Passengers
Porter Airlines has opted to configure its 146-seat E195-E2 aircraft in a comfortable 132-seat all-economy layout. The airline is committed to offering its passengers a range of seat pitches, including 36, 34, and 30 inches, ensuring that every traveler’s needs are met.
