THUNDER BAY – MISSING – November 27 marks a somber milestone: one year since the last confirmed sighting of Alex Lawson, also known as AJ, in the area of Madeline Street.

Description and Last Known Appearance

Alex, an Indigenous man, is approximately 5’6” tall with a medium build. He has distinctive long, straight grey hair, brown eyes, and often has facial hair. When last seen, he was wearing a black baseball cap, a light-coloured North Face puffer jacket with a dark upper area, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Public’s Assistance Sought in Ongoing Investigation

The Thunder Bay Police Service remains committed to locating Alex and providing closure for his family. Despite exhausting all leads, they maintain hope that new information will emerge. A dedicated tip line has been established since October 5, 2023, to encourage public participation.

A $5,000 CAD reward, offered by Lac Seul First Nation approved by the Thunder Bay Police Services Board, awaits anyone who can provide information leading directly to confirming Alex’s whereabouts.
