William Lacy and Apollo White Charged with Drug Offences in Downtown Transaction

Kenora – NEWS – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, William Lacy, a local man from Kenora, has been charged with drug-related offences after being caught in a drug transaction by police officers in downtown Kenora on April 27, 2023.

Police officers observed two people involved in a drug transaction, leading to the arrest of both individuals for possession and trafficking of methamphetamine.

Following their investigation, Lacy was charged with trafficking a Schedule 1 substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5000.

Apollo White was charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance, methamphetamine.

Both individuals have been released on a Form 10 and are scheduled to appear in court on May 25th, 2023 in Kenora. The OPP continues to enforce the law and combat drug-related crimes in the area.
