Thunder Bay Missing: 65-Year-Old Alex LAWSON – Police Renew Call for Help

Missing Person – Joseph Alexander ‘Alex’ LAWSON, 65

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service is renewing its call for the public’s help in locating Joseph Alexander LAWSON, a 65-year-old man also known as Alex or AJ, who has been reported missing. His last confirmed sighting was on November 27, 2022, in the 200 block of Madeline Street.

Alex is an Indigenous man, approximately 5’6” tall, with a medium build, long and straight grey hair, brown eyes, and usually has facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a light-coloured North Face puffer jacket with a dark upper area, blue jeans and black shoes.

As much of the snow has melted, police are urging area residents to check their properties once again. If you notice anything that might be helpful in the search for Alex, please call the police immediately at (807) 684-1200.

Furthermore, investigators are conducting a police search in various locations in the Grandview area on April 14 with support from the OPP. The public should be aware that they may observe a police presence.
