THUNDER BAY – NEWS – At approximately 14:30 (2:30 PM EDT) a non-emergency landing gear failure on a charter aircraft taxiing on the active runway caused the temporary closure of the Thunder Bay airport.

There were no injuries among the five persons on board.

The aircraft was not airborne.
