Cannabis Shortage Seeks Local Retailers Cut Shop Hours

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – A shortage of cannabis in Ontario is causing cuts in the hours of some retailers across the province including Thunder Bay.

The shortage has been caused by a cyber-attack on the wholesaler for the drug in Ontario.

The Ontario Cannabis Store, which is the cannabis wholesaler in the province says hundreds of pot shops will start receiving product deliveries over the next few days as it restarts systems turned off because of a cyberattack on one of its logistics partners.

The Ontario Cannabis Store report that they have added extra shifts at the distribution centre which will assist in boosting deliveries to cannabis stores and online customers who have been waiting for cannabis deliveries since last week.
