SANDY LAKE – COVID-19 Update – While many people seem convinced that COVID-19 is over, that certainly isn’t the case in Sandy Lake First Nation.

There are eighty active cases in the community that has a population of under 2000.

June 26 & 27, 2022

Thirty-six (36) new cases. 7 cleared.
Total: 80 active cases
Summary of new cases
• 10 live in various households with other positive cases
• 22 in various homes are from community spread
• 4 arrived today from out of town
