KENORA – NEWS – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have received multiple calls this week regarding counterfeit American and Canadian currency.

OPP have received several calls regarding fake money from several businesses and banks in the City of Kenora.

Police would like to advise people to be cautious of money they take for the sale of goods or services. Whether you work for a business or are selling something privately take the time to look at the currency given to you.

Police have received American $20, $50, $100, and Canadian $100 bills which are counterfeit.
