THUNDER BAY – If you like watching ships, this is the weekend for you. On Friday the Viking Octantis arrives back in Thunder Bay at Pool Six completing its second trip to the city.
The Viking Octantis will arrive at about 6:00 PM but it might be worth getting in place to view the ship a little early. The cruise ship will be coming into Pier Six from Silver Islet.
The ship will be in Thunder Bay until about 5:00 am on Sunday.
Then the Ocean Navigator will come in on Sunday.
John Cameron from Thunder Bay Tourism advises that vehicle traffic to the Octantis to Pier Six will be restricted.
Charlie Brown shares that the Alexander Henry will be open on the weekend for tours.
