PICKLE LAKE – WEATHER – Environment Canada has issued a Thunderstorm Warning as of 4:53 AM CDT.

At 4:53 a.m. CDT (4:53 a.m. EST, 5:53 a.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

This line of severe thunderstorms is located from 20 kilometres northwest of Kingfisher Lake to 12 kilometres north of Mamiegowish Lake, moving east at 60 km/h.

Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

  • Pickle Lake – Cat Lake
  • Summer Beaver – Wunnummin Lake – Kingfisher Lake

Hazard: Nickel size hail.

Locations impacted include: Wunnummin Lake, Menako Lakes, Obustiga Lake, Forester Lake, Spruce Lakes, Big Beaver House, Kingfisher Lake, and Totogan Lake.
