Thunder Bay – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a sudden death at Junot Park area.

Police say that on Wednesday June 8, 2022 just after 7:30 am police were dispatched to a call for assistance in the area of Junot Park.

A deceased person was located.

On Saturday June 11, 2022 the post-mortem examination of the deceased was concluded in Toronto.

Police maintained a scene in the Junot Park area for several days. That scene has since been released and the park is now accessible to the public.

Investigators with the Major Crime Unit are still actively looking for anyone who was in the area of Junot Park on Tuesday June 7, 2022 and June 8, 2022.
