THUNDER BAY – NEWS – On Monday May 23, 2022, at approximately 1:27 PM EDT. Thunder Bay Police responded to a call for assistance in the area of 1400 Balmoral Street.
Cody BULMER, a 30-year-old male of Thunder Bay was located deceased at the residence.
The Major Crimes Unit have become involved and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding BULMER’s death.
The investigation is being treated as a homicide.
On June 8, 2022 Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR), Primary Response and Major Crime Units located and arrested a second identified suspect.
Daniel BLAIS was taken into custody and transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street on his outstanding warrant without incident.
He is charged with Second-Degree Murder an is expected to appear in bail court on Thursday, June 9.
