Telique RICKETTS of Brampton Charged with Murder in Hodder Avenue Killing

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – An arrest has been made in a May 2, 2022 homicide on Hodder Avenue.

On Monday May 2, 2022 at approximately 11:30 pm EDT, Thunder Bay Police responded to a call for assistance in the area of 400 Hodder Avenue.

A 29-year-old man later identified as Adrian Anthony RICHARDSON was located with serious injuries. He died from injuries sustained during a shooting incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Saturday, June 4, 2022, members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Major Crime, Emergency Task, and Intelligence Units located and arrested Telique RICKETS, 22, of Brampton, Ont., at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

RICKETTS is charged with First-Degree Murder.

Telique RICKETTS appeared in bail court on Saturday, June 4 and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.

The investigation into the death of Adrian RICHARDSON remains ongoing.
