Tyrese BELMORE of Sioux Lookout Victim in Thunder Bay’s 5th Homicide of 2022

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – A Sioux Lookout man has been identified in a homicide on Shipley Street in Thunder Bay this week. Tyrese BELMORE, 19, of Sioux Lookout, died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center.

On Wednesday June 1, 2022 at approximately at 2:55 am EDT the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Primary Response Unit responded to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center in regards to a male who had arrived with serious injuries.

Investigators with the Thunder Bay Police Service Major Crime Unit have taken over the investigation. Members of the Forensic Identification Unit are also involved.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, the Thunder Bay Police Service identified an address on Shipley Street, and another on Brock Street East associated to the ongoing homicide investigation.

A post-mortem of the victim has been completed.
