Thunder Bay – Weather – Heading into the weekend, for Friday there are no weather alerts or warnings for the region.

Flooding is a factor however and water levels on lakes, streams, creeks and rivers are high.

Thunder Bay

It is +9 this morning in Thunder Bay headed to a high of only +13. Skies are cloudy and there is a 30 per cent potential for rain. Winds will be from the northwest at 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning.

The UV Index will be 4 or moderate.

Tonight will see continued clouds with a 30 per cent chance of precipitation. Winds will be slacking down late in the evening. The overnight low will be +2.

Fort Frances

It is +5 headed to +15 today in Fort Frances. Skies are cloudy for Friday, with winds from the northwest at 30 km/h gusting to 50 this morning.

The UV Index will be 6 or high.

There will be a few clouds this evening, winds will be slowing down to light tonight. The overnight low will be +4.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

It is +4 heading to a high for Friday of only +10 in Dryden. There will be a 30 per cent chance of rainfall today. Winds will be 20 gusting to 40 km/h early this morning.

The UV Index will be 4 or Moderate.

Skies will be clearing Friday evening. Winds will be slowing down to light. The overnight low will be +3 however there is a risk of frost in low-lying areas.

Sachigo Lake

It is a mixed bag of spring and winter in Sachigo Lake for Friday. The temperature this morning is +3. The high will be +10.

There is a 40 per cent potential for rain or snow flurries for Friday.

The UV Index will be 3 or moderate.

Tonight will see overcast skies with a low of +1.
