THUNDER BAY – POLITICS – Ontario Premier Doug Ford appears to be rolling to a second majority election.

Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca is stating however that “The people I am speaking with tell me that we are going to bust Doug Ford’s bubble”.

Del Duca is also in a political fight for his own seat in Queen’s Park.

Del Duca is running against Progressive Conservative MPP Michael Tibollo.

Tibollo was in the Ford cabinet as Ontario’s first Minister for Mental Health and Addictions. Over the past four years Tibollo has been across Ontario working to expand mental health access and especially addiction treatment.

The Toronto Star is reporting that in Vaughan-Woodbridge it is likely that Tibollo will be re-elected.

338Canada also shows the riding as “Leaning PCPO Hold”.

The Ford Progressive Conservatives have maintained a solid lead in the polls, and likely the real battle this election is between the Ontario Liberals and the Ontario New Democrats for second place.

Overall in a campaign that has not really caught fire with a lot of voters, post election both the Liberals and the New Democrats will have decisions to make.
