THUNDER BAY – ROADS Update – Across the region, the power of water has impacted highways and roadways. There are a number of roads washed out, or in some cases covered with water.
There is also areas where road repairs are underway.
City of Thunder Bay
Edward Street North, at the James Street and William Street intersection, will be closed to through traffic starting on Wednesday, June 1, for watermain repair work.
The City of Thunder Bay says that crews expect the work to be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, but weather conditions and other factors may impact project timelines.
River Street between College and Algoma Streets remains closed due to a sinkhole repair underway.
