KAKABEKA FALLS – WEATHER – At 8:46 a.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located near Pigeon River, moving northeast at 75 km/h.

Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

  • Cloud Bay – Dorion
  • Kakabeka Falls – Whitefish Lake – Arrow Lake

Locations impacted include:
Pigeon River Provincial Park, Cloud Bay, Pigeon River, Wamsley, Crystal Lake, Oliver Lake, Pardee, Bearpad Lake, Cloud Lake, Crooks, Slate River Valley, Neebing, McQuaig Lake, Caldwell Lake, Johnson Lake, Loch Lomond and Ward Lake.
