Update #1: Investigation into Death of Gregory George Continues

DRYDEN – NEWS – 56-year-old Gregory GEORGE was seriously injured during a break and enter with violence at a residence in the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation on May 13, 2022 and died later in hospital.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North West Region and Treaty Three Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation resident.

A post-mortem investigation was completed on May 25, 2022 at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto. The cause of death remains undetermined at this time.

Foul play has not be ruled out, but police do not believe there is a threat to public safety at this time.
