Red Lake 17-Year-Old Faces Charges for Uttering Threats

RED LAKE – NEWS – On May 27, 2022, officers from the Red Lake/Ear Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information of threats of violence made against the school by a student.

The investigation led to the arrest of a 17-year-old youth who is charged with:

  • Uttering threats contrary to Sec. 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code

The 17-year-old was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing on Tuesday May 31st 2022.
