THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – 

Thunder Bay

A cloudy day is in store overall for Thunder Bay. This morning has started with thin overhead clouds as you can see in the picture with the Viking Cruise Liner Octanis at Pier Six.

There is a 40 per cent chance of showers late this morning, and this afternoon. There will also be a few showers later this afternoon. The high for Saturday will be +15.

The UV Index will be 5 or moderate.

This evening will see showers changing to drizzle with fog patches developing this evening. The overnight low will be 8.

Fort Frances

It is +11 headed to +24 in Fort Frances today. There will be a 60 per cent chance of showers late this morning and again during the afternoon. Winds will become from the south a 20 km/h gusting up to 40 later this morning before becoming light this afternoon.

The UV Index will be 6 or High.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

It is 11 in Dryden at the airport this morning. The expected high will be 23, under a mix of sun and clouds. The prediction for precipitation is 60 per cent late this morning and this afternoon. Winds will be from the south at 20 km/h late in the afternoon.

The UV Index will be 8 or high.

Tonight will see mainly cloudy skies with a 30 per cent chance of rain. Winds will stay at 20 km/h before becoming light late in the evening. The low overnight will be 12.

Fort Severn

It is right at the freezing mark in Fort Severn this morning. Wasaho is under cloudy skies which should be clearing later in the morning. Winds will be from the Northwest at 30 km/h.

The UV Index will be 6 or high.

Tonight will see clear skies with winds light at up to 15 km/h. The overnight low will be -4 with a wind chill of -8.
