Emily Regina’s beauty and hard work have all lead her to her dreams, however, she had no idea how much her life would change. Being a model comes with its perks and opportunities!
The model and content creator star from the Netherlands was brought up in a small conservative village where she felt unaccepted and misunderstood. Now many years later, Emily is an online influential figure with over 1.6 million followers. She receives a lot of love and support amongst her growing community, however, some take it that one step too far!
However, Emily took a whole year of law school but later decided to follow her true passions using Instagram and travel. Her main priority was always to give back to her family and also to be a voice for those girls still growing their confidence.
Choosing the model lifestyle, Emily always knew that her followers were loving and they have expressed this through comments, likes and messages. However, “some often take it that little bit too far…”, says Emily. “I have often opened hundreds of messages from just one guy asking me to marry him and he had even sent photos of the ring he had bought for me!” And this is just the beginning. She later went on to tell us all about people that had sent her their addresses, booked romantic meals and even managed to find the address of one of her friends and left flowers there for her!
Being in the limelight can be an interesting place, but Emily loves having a platform to support and empower other women and to showcase her passions and dreams. With all of the hard work and time that is put into these dreams, it is important to always stay true to yourself. As flattering as these gestures were, the situation had to be dealt with accordingly and to tell the lovely fans that all people do in fact need a bit of privacy and respect! No matter what obstacles get in the way, your passions and dreams are always there to be chased. However, it is important to be confident in yourself and all that you want to do and create.
Always be true to yourself. If you don’t feel comfortable with something then do not go through with it. You are still a human being at the end of the day.
Emily Regina speaks of her future and all that she wants to do, however, highlights the great importance of using her platform to leave a legacy behind for all of those women and young girls. “I just want women to believe that it is always possible to manifest dreams and build their futures! And no matter what obstacles get in the way, know that you are always worth it and you can get through anything that you put your mind to.”
