THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Ontario Provincial Police report that over the past 80 hours, officers in North West Region have laid 399 speeding charges.

This is almost as many charges as have been laid by OPP officers in the Greater Toronto Region!

Every long weekend, OPP work toward saving lives, with enhanced road patrols.

Over recent weeks there have been numerous reports of stunt driving, which generates serious fines and licence suspensions.

Speed is the leading contributing factor in fatal motor vehicle collisions.

Please share the roads responsibly and always drive according to the road conditions and posted speed limits
