Frost Warnings in Effect for Far West of Ontario

THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – There are frost warnings out across the far western regions of Ontario.

Thunder Bay

The first full day of the Victoria Day Weekend in Thunder Bay will see rain with a high of +13. It is +2 at 05:30 am, with a 30 per cent potential for rain showers. Winds are from the northwest at 20 km/h.

The UV index will be 4 or moderate.

This evening it will remain cloudy with a 30 per cent potential of snow. Low overnight of +2.

Fort Frances

It is +2 in Fort Frances, with a Frost Warning in effect. The high for the day will be +10. There is a 30 per cent potential for precipitation.

The UV index will be 3 or moderate.

This evening it will remain cloudy. There will be a 30 per cent chance of rain tonight. Low will be +1 with areas of patchy fog.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

There is a frost warning in effect for Dryden and Vermilion Bay. The temperature is zero in Dryden this morning. Skies are cloudy with a 30 per cent possibility of precipitation.

The UV index will be 3 or moderate.

This evening there will be a 30 per cent possibility of rain under cloudy skies. The low overnight will be +1 with areas of patchy frost.

Marten Falls

It is Zero in Marten Falls under overcast skies. The high for the day will be 10. Winds for Saturday will be 20 km/h gusting to 40 km/h.

The UV index will be 2 or low.

This evening, skies will be cloudy. Winds will be from the west at 30 km/h before becoming light later in the evening. Overnight low of -3. The windchill will be -7 overnight.
