THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – It feels a little chilly in Thunder Bay but likely nothing like later tonight and into Sunday morning.
While there is snow in Ear Falls, Pickle Lake and other points north, across Western Ontario there are Frost Warnings.

Some plants may be damaged or even destroyed by frost. Patchy frost is expected again tonight into Sunday morning.
Reality is most years the first of the frost free growing season is later in May or June 1st.
Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
