THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Lyon Boulevard is now closed between Arundel Street and Algoma Street for emergency culvert and washout repairs.
The roadway along Boulevard Lake has been in need of repairs for a long time.
The Play It Forward Funland at Boulevard Lake is open this weekend – weather permitting. The facility on the south side of Boulevard Lake can be accessed off Algoma still according to the fun centre owners.
The City of Thunder Bay says that work to fix the road will start on Tuesday, May 24.
The completion date is not known at this time.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes, use extra caution, and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
