THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – There are no weather alerts or warnings in effect across both Western and Northern Ontario this morning.

Sioux Lookout has issued a Flood Warning update late Wednesday.

Thunder Bay

It is +5 this morning headed to +10 as a high. Skies are cloudy and there is a 40 per cent potential for precipitation this morning.

The UV index is 4 or moderate.

For this evening, skies will remain cloudy with the weather forecast calling for periods of rain early in the night. Low overnight of +5.

Fort Frances

It is +8 in Fort Frances this morning, heading to a high of 14 under cloudy skies. There is a 60 per cent chance of rain later this afternoon.

The UV Index is 4 or moderate.

This evening will see 10 to 15 mm of rain, with a low overnight of +8.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

The temperature is +6 in Dryden and Vermilion Bay this morning. The high for Thursday under partly cloudy skies will be +14. There is a 30 per cent potential for rain this afternoon.

The UV Index will be 5 or moderate.

Tonight will see periods of rain, with winds becoming 20 km/h from the northeast before morning. The low overnight will be +4.

Sachigo Lake

It is -2 in Sachigo Lake this morning. The high for Thursday will be +9. Skies will be clear this morning before becoming a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent potential of rain this afternoon.

Winds will become 20 km/h from the northwest late this morning.

The UV Index will be 6 or high.

This evening, will see mainly cloudy skies. There is a 30 per cent possibility of rain shifting to a 30 per cent possibility of snow flurries after midnight. The low will be -4 with the windchill making that feel more like -8.
