THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – There are no weather alerts or warnings in effect across the region.

There are however flood warnings still in effect and due to heavy runoff in local creeks, rivers and streams please be very water aware and especially watch out for small children near waterways.

Thunder Bay

Cloudy skies will be the case for Monday in Thunder Bay. There will be a 30 per cent chance of rain this morning. Winds are very calm this morning, however will pick up from the Northwest at 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning. The high for Monday will be 15.

The UV Index will be 4 or moderate.

Tonight clouds will continue, with diminishing winds becoming light near midnight. Low overnight of +5.

Fort Frances

Fort Frances is at 7 this morning headed to a Monday high of 15 under cloudy skies. Winds will be from the northwest at 20 gusting up to 40 km/h this morning. However by this afternoon expect light winds.

The UV index will be 4 or moderate.

This evening will see partly cloudy skies with an overnight low of 3.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

It is 3 headed to a high of only 8 in Dryden. Skies will be cloudy and there is a 30 per cent chance of showers today. Winds will be from the northwest at 20 km/h before becoming light this afternoon.

UV index is 3 or moderate.

This evening will see mainly cloudy skies and an low of +1.

Fort Severn / Wasaho Cree Nation

It is +3 with light scattered snow flurries in Fort Severn. Those flurries will be ending this morning, and clouds will be sticking around. Winds will be from the north at 30 gusting to 50 kmh.

The UV index is 2 or low.

This evening skies will remain cloudy. Winds will be from the north at 30 gusting to 50 km/h. Low will be -3 with the windchill at -10 overnight.
