Thunder Bay – LIVING – If you are a kid at heart or a kid, you have a couple of hours left to get down to Hill City Comics at 26 Court Street.
Its Free Comic Book Day at Hill City today.
Organizers share that “After a lot of thought about how to handle Free Comic Book Day this weekend, we have decided to take the event outside this year. Anyone who has been to a Free Comic Book Day at the store know how packed the store can become and I just don’t feel comfortable having that many people in the store at this time”.
I am also going to ask that people who don’t need to go into the store this weekend not, as I would like to limit the amount of people inside the store to better protect my staff and customers as well as to help deal with a staffing shortage”.
You can get two free comic books. However, anyone wishing to make a small donation for the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society will be able to take an additional two comics.
Free Comic Book day will be running between 10:00am and 2:00pm this Saturday May the 7th
